Upholding and maintaining professional standards in Trichology

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We are delighted to invite you on Monday 17th February at 10:00 am until 10:45 for a Zoom – News and Views – here’s the link.

Join Zoom Meeting

Here’s the revised version with gaps fixed and improved flow:

We will be discussing another clinical case in detail so we can learn from each other. The ART Academic Conference is on Monday, 24th February, at the Reform Club, Pall Mall, London. We will be starting at 12:00 noon.

Trichology plays a significant role in Primary Health Care, and Dr. John English will be exploring the pathway for us to achieve this goal. The afternoon will be relaxed, and I hope very enjoyable, with three very gifted speakers who will cover all aspects of our profession.

Dr. John English will revisit skin lesions, as this will be the pathway into primary health care through another level of academic excellence. Dr. David Basketter will present the very latest findings in a clinically reviewed paper on androgenic alopecia and its treatment. Charlotte Lucas will discuss nutrition and the impact this has on building up the immune system and sustaining hair growth. Adam Haste will provide insight into the world of insurance claims against hairdressers and, now, the ever-increasing use of ‘injectables.’

The session will conclude with a reception and a talk hosted by Baroness Emma Nicholson of Winterbourne, titled “A Profession Revisited.”

This conference will be CPD accredited.

The Conference is open to newly qualified members and indeed students.
